I speak the language. I’ve spent over twenty years—seven of them right here in the Lowcountry—mastering the art of the uncooperative subject. With a background in animal kinesis and a lifelong obsession with their subtle languages, I’ve seen it all. Whether we’re leaning into classic, Old World portraiture that feels like a museum commission or capturing something bold and a little bit ridiculous, the goal is the same: a portrait that actually feels like them.

Stiff is for statues.

They don’t need to be obedience champs. My private studio is a sanctuary designed for the wiggles, the side-eye, and the absolutely not sitting still energy. I use light, color, and decades of intuition to turn that chaos into personality-driven artwork that you’ll stop for every time you walk past it.

Every home has a different heartbeat. I personally believe one bold Hero piece can define a room, but I also know that a single image rarely tells the whole story. A massive wall piece might be perfect for your mantel, or your dog’s personality might be better suited for a hand-crafted heirloom album.

How much or how little we do is up to you. I’m here to provide as much design guidance as you want—or as little as you need—to help you navigate those choices so you walk away with art that actually fits your life and your space.

The Investment

The Studio experience starts at $950. Think of it as the ultimate tribute to your best friend. This includes:

• Your custom-planned session in our private studio.
• 5 fine art prints to get your collection started.
• Matching high-resolution digital files for those images.
• A $350 artwork credit toward your wall art or albums.

Let’s be honest: they are a masterpiece. While your commission gets you started, most clients end up falling in love with a full story and choose to go beyond their initial prints with a hand-crafted heirloom album or a custom wall collection designed for their home. Whether you're looking for a single bold statement or a full-room tribute, I’ll help you design a result that fits your space perfectly.

Payment plans are available. To keep things unhurried and focused, I only accept 8 to 10 full commissions per year.
